The space THE TOP FLOOR .. has everything business travelers need for a comfortable stay. The house is on 2 levels with a large bedroom and entertainment area on the top floor. There are 2 balconies - one off the entertainment area and one off the bedroom. The lower level has 3 more bedrooms which are rented out separately. Access to the lower level is through the top level and guests have access to the balcony and pool but the rest is for your exclusive use, including the balcony off the bedroom. We provide you with: Hairdryer Towels Bed linen Toiletries Wi-Fi Keys Lock-up garage with parking for 1 car Free parking in the street right outside my house (most of the time) ...if there is anything missing, and important to you, definitely let me know and I'll do my best to have it here for you, so you can travel lighter! LOCATION Close to the City Bowl, Camps Bay and Clifton beaches. MyCiTi bus route just a block away. Uber less than 5 min away. North facing, making it the perfect position, with a great view of Robben Island. You can even get a good work out in the gym downstairs. Our street is really quiet, so you can enjoy an undisturbed rest to help you through your busy days. Time to travel to : City Centre - 10 minutes - 5km Clifton Beaches - 2 minutes - 10 to 15 minute walk Camps Bay Beach - less than 5 minutes - 3.2km Cape Town Airport - 25 minutes V&A Waterfront - 18 minutes - 6.3km Table Mountain - 12 minutes - 5.6km I have created a house manual which I can send you once you've booked. This will help you plan your trip and contains all my personal favourites - restaurants and other things to do. OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD We live in an amazing neighbourhood - close to everything! You can find a lot of trendy coffee shops, bistros, and restaurants close by. It's quiet, safe and very importantly, for those who know windy Cape Town, it's relatively wind-free! Rare indeed for this city.. My favourite places are too numerous to list, so for more info you can refer to my manual (I started but it got too long and I didn't know which ones to take out!). CLEANING PROTOCOL I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: Supplies We have the following items on hand: • Disposable gloves • Mask or cloth face covering • Multi-surface disinfectant Cleaning During the cleaning process, we: • Dust, sweep or vacuum all floors • Clean or mop hard surfaces with water and soap • Wash all dishes and laundry • Empty all garbage cans and line with fresh bags Shared Spaces Your safety is as important to us as our own. Shared spaces are limited to: • Kitchenette / Laundry • Downstairs Living Room • Upstairs Balcony and Swimming Pool • Gym (unless rented out as a bedroom) All common areas are cleaned daily. Please read reviews from previous guests in case you are still hesitating. Guest access You have access to the whole house. Other guests are restricted to the lower level with the exception of the swimming pool and balcony off the entertainment area. Downstairs, you have access to the gym (unless rented out as an extra bedroom which happens during really busy times), laundry and study. Your bedroom does have a desk and printer, but the desk in the study downstairs is much bigger and also has a printer/scanner/copier. Other things to note Garage with parking for 2 cars (1 for you) - lots of safe extra parking in the street. Ronel, your friendly housekeeper, will ensure your comfort. She cleans your room every day (for no more than a tip when you leave), but goes home on Saturdays and comes back on Mondays at about lunch time. She's also off on all public holidays. She will also do your laundry for a charge which you can agree with her.
