Situated in the foothills of the fabulous Silver Valley, Grandma's Cozy Farmhouse is the original farmhouse of a once bustling 100 acre dairy farm. The farmhouse is situated on a beautiful lot of land behind an automatic gate accompanied by the old milking barn, out buildings, and one other residence nearby. Grandma's has amazing views of Frost Peak, Bald Mountain ("Baldy" to locals) and many others. No matter the season, these rugged North Idaho mountains shine with awe and adventure! The space The farmhouse is situated between two small towns. One offers a Walmart and the other, a locally-owned grocery store as well as a handful of restaurants -- all within a two-mile drive. Activities, depending on the season, include hiking, biking, canoeing/kayaking, floating the river, swimming, cross-country skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, zip-line, hunting, and fishing, along with many trails and roads for ATVs or UTVs. Numerous lakes dot the landscape and the beautiful North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River is just a few miles away. Two ski resorts, Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass, are minutes away. The Rails to Trails and beautiful Hiawatha Bicycle Trail offer fun for every level of rider. If it's the rest you're looking for, Grandma's does that in spades. There's enough peace here to set your soul afloat. And the best part is, that Mother Nature will be your host! It's not uncommon to see all manner of wildlife in your front yard: turkey, elk, deer, and coyotes wander on property with seasonal regularity.
