A spacious 4 bedroom barn conversion in the Welsh countryside. An open plan, light filled airy lounge and dining room with woodburner and original beams. Large lawned gardens. The space Dan yr Eglwys is set in beautiful rolling countryside with panoramic views just 2 miles from the Spa town of Builth Wells. It boasts a large open planned lounge and diner with welcoming central wood burner. Complimentary logs provided. French windows open out onto gardens either side of cottage to benefit from the sun all day long. There are 4 large double bedrooms.2 with ensuites and third with wet room. Towels are provided. Also spacious bathroom with twin bedroom opposite. Downstairs is completely disabled friendly. Guest access Guests are able to use the whole house. All you need to decide is which of the 4 bedrooms and views that you want! The kitchen is well equipped-freezer, fridge, electric cooker, microwave etc. The bookshelf is full of games, books and DVDs to borrow. The underfloor heating keeps the whole house cosy and warm all the year round. Parking is free, and lots of space to enjoy the enclosed garden or even ramble through the farm where there are always different things happening throughout the year. Shearing, lambing and hay making which often guests like to watch or even help! Lovely peaceful little streams to explore or hills to climb and enjoy the views. Several public footpaths nearby. No light pollution so great for seeing the night skies and stars clearly. Other things to note With close proximity to Builth Wells for shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, cinema, as well as a swimming pool and leisure centre , Dan yr Eglwys is ideal for those who don’t want to venture far. The Royal Welsh Show ground is just 2 miles away for major events such as Wonder Wool, Antique Fairs, Spring Festival, Christmas Fair etc. We have WiFi throughout the cottage and bed linen, towels and two bags of firewood are all included in price. Extra bags can be purchased from us or various outlets in Builth Wells. Various DVDs ,games and books available to use. EV charger now available at an additional charge.
