Hiawatha Bay—Dog Lake (Historic Rideau Canal)

Our cottage is located at the end of a quiet lane surrounded by lots of wildlife. It’s rustic and quaint. We are open for the winter months & are close to many skidoo trails & the ice fishing is great! For the boaters out there, our cottage is located on the Historic Rideau Canal. It is tucked in a quiet, shallow, sandy bay & there is usually a nice breeze that whistles through. It is a fisherman's dream & a small piece of paradise. Book with us & you will enjoy every moment of your stay! Other things to note Outdoor recreational equipment is also available to rent. We have two canoe's, two kayaks & two paddle boards. All of the equipment is available to rent at a cost of $ 35.00 per day or $ 200.00 for the week. June through September, we will be offering pontoon boat excursions to the Historic Jones Falls with pickup/drop off at the end of the dock.
