A charming, converted coach house in quiet, residential conservation area in South Liverpool, about 5 miles from the city centre, with easy access to promenades by the Mersey. It is self-contained and spacious with accommodation on two floors. Features quirky, bespoke Art Deco details. The space The accommodation is a converted c19th coach house in the garden of the hosts' house. It was sympathetically converted from the old stables and coach house and retains some old features. It also benefits from a hand-built maple kitchen, maple parquet floor throughout and stained glass windows in the art deco style. Accommodation is over 2 floors, with open-plan kitchen dining room downstairs and a spacious living room, bathroom and double bedroom upstairs. The kitchen is equipped. It is entirely self-contained and separate from the main house, so you can enjoy privacy during your stay. The coach house provides a good base for someone in town for work, to study or explore the city's culture and heritage, away from the bustle of the city centre. Visitors with limited mobility should note that access is via uneven cobbles, internally the accommodation has stairs and the shower is over a bath. Guest access Access to the coach house is via the rear yard of main house. Guests are welcome to sit in the courtyard but should be aware that the family and pets make frequent use of the garden. There is a conservatory/greenhouse attached to the coach house which guests are welcome to use this if they wish but it is in need of repair so please be warned! Other things to note We have a dog who lives in the main house. They are not allowed in the coach house but do use the courtyard area. Our dog may be nervous of strangers and initially bark.
