San Bernardino County Permit # CESTRP-2020-00024 Guest access Entire property (except for outdoor shed). Other things to note Our Commitment to a Zero-Carbon, Zero-Waste Future: We try to make decisions that are good for the planet including choosing responsible companies and natural, long-lasting products as much as possible. There are some quirks, but we think it’s worth it to reuse and repurpose than to add to the landfill. Here’s what to expect from us: 1. composting - an outdoor tumbling composter 2. stainless steel water bottles (the tap water is groundwater pumped from aquifers, it is cleaner than the state and national average) 3. reusable cloth and string bags for grocery shopping 4. alternatives to single-use plastics: stainless steel straws, reusable silicone storage bags, and to-go mugs 5. unpaper towels/napkins 6. upcycled kitchen appliances 7. low waste amenities 8. eco-friendly cleaning supplies 9. trash and recycling in clearly labeled bins in the cabin and at the curb 10. guidance on using public transit, including getting on and off the mountain 11. energy-efficient light bulbs, furnace, and other features 12. vintage and repaired furniture and decor 13. treasured objects, meant to last What we ask of you (please): 1. Recycle (aluminum, all plastics with symbols 1-7, clear and colored glass, newspapers, magazines & catalogs, cardboard, aerosol cans, and tin) 2. Return reusable water bottles and food storage containers. 3. Turn off lights, close curtains, and reduce heat to 60 degrees when you’re out and about. 4. Share your suggestions--we are always learning! Registration Details CESTRP-2020-00024
