Taking a break amongst nature and culture

The property is situated in the hills of Tuscany, just 30 minutes from Florence, in an area that is rarely visited by tourists and which still retains its traditional Tuscan charm. It is an old stone farmhouse, originally built as the summer residence of the local Bishop. The large house is subdivided into two parts; guests will be using the main portion of the house, while a smaller part is kept empty but not available for guests. The space The house has five rooms; a kitchen-dining room, four large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all located upstairs and accessed after entering through the kitchen-living area. The lawns, gardens and large outside space is great for relaxing and it has its own dining table and chairs. Solar and pellet central heating available. A car is necessary as the farm is secluded, with access being along 1,5 Km of dirt road (not suitable for low clearance sport cars). Wi-fi available in all partes of the house and outside. The house does not have a TV and it is kept simple, neat and sober as it is often used for yoga and meditation retreat. Guest access Guests will be the only occupants of the whole house, however we keep two rooms, and our yoga hall with their own separate entrance, closed. Those rooms will not be accessed or used during your stay to give total privacy to our guests. The whole garden and lawns around the house is for guests's private use. For those who are interested we can offer yoga classes in our beautiful hall. We grow most of our organic vegetables for family use, and we are always happy to share them with our guests when available. Other things to note The last part of the road (km1,5) is dirt road, access is not suitable for low clearance sport cars or road motorbike as it has gravel on it. Pls note don't follow GPS map to reach us, on the last part (the dirt road) there is no mobile signal and it may give wrong indication on a right turn. For over 20 years this property has been used for the teaching of yoga and meditation, hosting small spiritual and ecological retreats from the Yogic, Christian and Buddhist traditions.
