Stunning 2 Bedroom Cottage in Yorkshire

Heron Cottage is a stunning 17th Century listed property nestled on the edge of the Bretton Estate, home of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Brought into the 21st Century Heron Cottage retains original features & has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with a clean and stylish finish. The house is situated in a prime location to access many attractions. Externally the property benefits from a private garden and patio & also parking for 3 cars. The House is Dog friendly. The space The ground floor comprises of a large stylish sitting room & Kitchen. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (one having a Super king bed the other a double sofa bed) & a bathroom. The property is spacious, light, bright and airy allowing visitors to feel comfortable, relaxed and invigorated after their stay. Please read further details on second bedroom guests in 'House Rules’ section. Guest access The cottage is self check in with a lockbox key safe. You can relax without being interrupted from the start to the end of your stay, however the host is available if needed. There is parking available for up to 3 cars. Within a 5-10 minute drive of the village are amenities such as a Tesco, M & S food, multiple pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants and petrol stations. The village itself has a Cricket club during summer with a bar showing sport 3 nights a week and the village hall with a bar open 2-3 nights a week. Other things to note If you require 2 bedrooms making up please let me know 48hours in advance. Please make sure to add on the booking all guests that intend to stay. Infants (Up to 1 Years) are not charged as guests unless you require the second bedroom making up. Pets: If you intend to bring a fury friend please do not forget to add them to the booking request. There is a pet fee added to your booking when bringing a pet. Please let me know what type of dog you are bringing. Any more than 1 dog please let us know. -2 Well behaved dogs are welcome. **PLEASE NOTE - DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED UPSTAIRS, IN BEDS OR ON THE SOFA**. - The toilet uses a macerator (In the olden days the toilet would have been outside). The toilet will break if anything other than toilet paper and human waste is flushed down it. If a guest flushes a wet wipe, balls of hair, Cotton Pads or other foreign objects down the toilet macerator will break :( The house does not have high chairs or cots. -Children over the age of 6 are welcome. The second bedroom with the comfy sofa bed in does not have a locking door however a draw across curtain for privacy. - A bucket of logs is provided to get you started with the log burner. Further logs are available from many places in the local area if you run out. - The garden of 1500sq ft is separate to the cottage (15m away from the front door). It is secure with the wall at its lowest point at 75cm heigh.
