NOTE: Some of the furniture, lighting, and art work have been replaced. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated with modern fixtures and appliances (Samsung black & stainless steel dishwasher; built-in microwave, and 5-burner stove). There is a 70-inch smart TV (Samsung) mounted on the living room wall, and a 32-inch smart TV in the bedroom, and other electronics for personal use. The space The best of both worlds! Centrally located, a 10-minute bus or car-ride to Embassy Row, Dupont Circle, Georgetown, Downtown/Business District, and Friendship Heights. Apartment Details: --Beautifully decorated, a large, sunny one-bedroom condo apartment with all the latest amenities and friendly, helpful neighbors of all ages--walking distance to The National Cathedral! -- One fully-tiled bathroom with two wash-sinks, and bath-tub for mineral sea salt and bubble-baths (my favorite!). Multidimensional shower-head and shower mat. -- Kitchen is narrow, long walk-in, with wooden counter-tops, top roaster-oven, plus main oven, over-sized refrigerator, and coffee/teapot. Lots of cabinetry. Towers Condominium: --The building has a grand entrance and secured lobby/front desk service. Olympic-size pool with life-guards enclosed in private garden (open early-May to mid-October). The apartment unit itself is located directly next to the laundry room and trash disposal room. Also, there is a grocery store in the basement that even sells alcohol and has a Canadian pastry shop. There is also a hair salon and tailor. Our neighborhood: --Is tranquil with tree-lined streets, a Starbucks, an American and Italian restaurants, as well as a neighborhood pharmacy and butcher-shop, There is a bus directly in front of the building that will take you to every part of the city--and fast! I am available anytime during your stay for questions and answers! **Please note: unit price increases during high season by $20/night, from $105 to $125/night. Guest access Guests are welcome to use any items available inside the unit. However, please do not take any items with you when you leave (smiles). This includes: toiletries, scented candles, pantry items, fruit, books, music, DVDs, etc.
