The space Situated on one of Australia's oldest colonial working farms, The Barracks provides boutique accommodation on a unique heritage site. Four suites have been beautifully restored to provide elegant comforts in the same space where convicts and farmhands worked and toiled over 150 years ago. Ideal for tourists wanting to experience rural Australia, for travellers wanting a unique experience, for guests wanting an overnight indulgence. You will find a kitchenette equipped with a Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, mini bar fridge, crockery and cutlery. Downstairs offers a lounge/sitting area, bathroom and kitchenette with stairs leading up towards the bedroom. The rooms cannot accommodate children under the age of 13. Guest access Guests are able to wander the grounds and explore the buildings, the wetlands and the gardens. The Tocal Homestead and buildings open on Sundays 10am - 3pm and guests are offered complimentary passes which entitles them to an Acousti guide.
