A renovated 112-year-old house on the bank of the Shimanto River

We renovated an old house on the banks of the Shimanto River. Surrounded by mountains, rivers and fields. We want you to relax in nature, playing in the river every day in summer and in the mountains in winter, so we make it possible to stay for a long time. I hope that families with small children in particular will enjoy a stay where they can use the whole building and feel like they are visiting a relative's home. You can rent the whole house (consultation required for 8 or more people) for 36,000 yen per night. Since we operate in the countryside of Shimanto, we hope that you will cherish nature, the region (neighbors), and children, and have a good time connecting with everyone. We can also show you the beautiful tributaries of the mountains ♪ Canoeing, rafting, climbing, and camping facilities are close by. The house was renovated with plenty of wood by a carpenter who was also a shrine carpenter. You can also boil the bath with firewood. Because the old house was salvaged, the beams are low, and if you are 165 cm or taller, your head will hit the beams (some beams, not the ceiling). Please be careful. Also, since it is a place sandwiched between mountains and rivers, there are many insects and other creatures. If you don't like that, please consider it before you come. Guest access Feel free to use any part of the house or garden. The adjacent building is our home and the parking lot is shared, so we would be happy if you could greet us like a neighbor when you see us. As you can see from the site, if you go from the parking lot past the front of the house to the back, you will find my home. Please refrain from entering the house, and if you need anything, please contact us by phone or message. Please feel at ease with your children, as we can respond at any time, such as in an emergency. It depends on the season, but during the Golden Week holiday, there is a carp streamer crossing the river directly above the house. There are also organic vegetable fields around the house, and in the plum season, we pick a lot of them and pickle them, and we pick and eat blueberries, yam, persimmons, and cherries from the trees in the mountains. During the ginger season, you can enjoy the seasonal scent from all over the place. Please enjoy the seasonal views from the room. In the meantime, we also operate other sites and memberships, so you can often book within a few minutes.
