Experience Kanab Downtown Suite

Our suite is located in Kanab, Utah, on the edge of the high desert. It is a peaceful space to rest after an amazing day at places like Zion National Park. We are a block away from downtown, but when you arrive, you will feel like you are miles away. You enter via our art studio. The suite is spacious and fun. In the evening, relax under the trees and enjoy the sun as it sets behind the red rock cliffs or wait until dark and marvel at our star filled skies. The space We designed the suite with the fun, casual traveler in mind. We carefully planned and purchased everything we think you may want or need to use to make your stay in Kanab comfortable and pleasant. We purchased our house almost 6 years ago and have been upgrading it ever since. Not only is the suite a great place to rest and recharge, but our backyard entices you to watch a sunset, and wonder at the countless stars above. You will enter the house via our art studio, your door is marked and on the left. The spacious master suite (350 SF) will have plenty of peace and quiet. The suite is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a 50 inch TV with Netflix. Guest access One of the best things (other than our view!) of our property is that although is in downtown, it's a little hidden from the street which gives us a little extra quietness, specially at night. Downtown Kanab is pretty straight forward and close enough that you can walk pretty much anywhere, including to some trail heads if you like a little extra walk. We have plenty of parking, including space for an RV if you would need that much room. Other things to note We moved to Kanab almost 6 years ago, Ron has worked as a tour guide so he has so much knowledge to share, in case you would like some info. Your entrance to the Suite is via our art studio. While you are here, we mostly use the studio between 10 am to 6 pm, but on a rare occasion we may have a workshop scheduled ahead of your reservation. If we have space and you are feeling creative, you are welcome to join in the fun. On your own time, if you feel creative, we hope you choose to do a little project yourself, we leave it at the table for you. 😉 Because we use Airbnb often (under Claudia Thomas' profile), we believe you will enjoy our place. Our Experience Kanab Guest Suite is located in the heart of so many beautiful destinations. From Kanab, Zion National Park (east entrance) is 30 miles to the northwest. From Kanab, the Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim) is 79 miles to the south. From Kanab, Bryce Canyon National Park is 76 miles to the northeast. From Kanab, Lake Powell is 74 miles to the east. And because we want you to have a beautiful space with no surprises, we do not add on a cleaning fee. We do have a chore list, however, with one item: smile.
