We are lucky to live in the best location in London - near to the River Thames, fabulous restaurants and pubs and all the cultural opportunities the South Bank has to offer. The space A newly refurbished, contemporary design ground floor apartment in the heart of London’s Bankside, minutes from the River Thames and Borough food market. A short walk away are some of London’s best attractions. Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Southwark Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Royal Festival Hall are all within a 20 minute walk. Excellent location for exploring some of London's premier cultural attractions and best restaurants and bars. We have spent 2016 refurbishing and extending our property, using local architect Malcolm Pawley, creating an additional studio apartment and adding higher specification fixtures and fittings, as well as a washer drier that our guests asked for. All reviews prior to 2016 are for our original ground floor flat, and we have made improvements to the apartment to make your stay even more of a pleasure! We pride ourselves on offering great customer service. We now have two apartments, one ground floor and one above it so, if you're coming to London with friends or family you can book both apartments together and we’ll offer you a discount. Bed linen and towels are supplied. For long stays, extra bedding and towels and cleaning can be provided on request. Prices quoted are for up to two guests using the king size bed. There is a charge for extra guests. Guest access This is a self-contained apartment on the ground floor, next door to the owner's house. There is a separate entrance which is shared with the first floor flat, which is also a holiday let. You have your own bathroom, kitchen and dining area. The apartment is open plan, but the bedroom area can be screened off with a sliding door.
