The space The house was built as a schoolhouse in the mid-19th century for the local community. Originally one room, the class chalkboard was under where the stairs to the newly installed 2nd floor are. The bookcase in what is now the living room was the first public library in Ulster County, NY. The house sits on 2 acres of land, which backs onto the prestigious Mohonk Mountain Reserve. You may catch deer searching for some tasty tulips. Keep an eye out for wild turkey! Please note the kitchen and living room were recently painted and are now more modern than in the listing photos. Check for the latest on social media! #CloveSchoolhouse / @CloveSchoolhouse Guest access Guests will have access to the entire schoolhouse.
