Bright apartment in the heart of the historic Centre of Catania. 1° floor in 18th Century Building, recently restored. Only 5 minutes walk from Piazza Duomo. There are two double bedroom,a restroom, a kitchen. The space Warm and cozy apartment in the heart of the Historic Centre of Catania, close to Piazza Duomo, Piazza Teatro Massimo e the Historic Fish Market. The flat has a beautiful view on Piazza Duca di Genova, the ancient Biscari Palace and the port of Catania. The apartment is located at the 1° floor of a 18th Century Building that once was a prestigious College. The unit has been recently restored with particular attention to every single detail. It has new electric and wanter-sanitary system, and new furniture. There is a double rooms with a walk-in closet connected and another room that previously was the living room (no door) and that we turned into the second bedroom that has a double bed, a wardrobe and a balcony. The kitchen is large and bright with dinner table and a balcony , a restroom with shower, WC, bidet and sink. Kitchen has been provided with all the needed equipment but we are ready to satisfy any request. Wifi has just been changed - it is powerful and fast. The line is Vodafone 4G. The house is an ideal residence for holidays but it is also suitable for those who come to Catania for working. All this due to its strategic location. In just a few minutes walk you can reach: bus station, railway station, commercial and touristic port, Piazza Duomo, Teatro Massimo Vincenzo Bellini, Via Etnea and the shopping area, Historical Fish Market, Archeological sites (such as Odeon, Greek Theater, Monastery of Benedettini, Ursino Castle, etc..), museums and churches. In just 10 minutes by taxi or bus you can reach the seaside: Playa beach in the south of Catania and the Volcanic lava cliff in the north. There are free access to the sea or several beach clubs with all the comforts. For those who love natural environment, the big Etna Volcano is reacheble in about 1 hour. Further, the center of nightlife in Catania it is just a few minutes away. Piazza Teatro Massimo Bellini and Piazza Currò are full of bars and nice restaurants where you can seat, enjoy a drink and meet the locals. It has a private entrace and it is fully indipendent. Other things to note From Catania Airport: - Taxi: about € 30-40. Ask for Via Vecchio Bastione 5, next to Piazza Duca di Genova - Bus: Take "ALIBUS" . You can purchase the ticket (4€) at the airport or on the bus. Get out at the first stop "ARCHI" (Arches in english) It is at the port. Then walk to the main entrance of the port, and cross VIA DUSMET. Then walk VIA DUSMET toward your left hand and take the 5th street on your right. At the end of the street, that is only 50 mt long, you see a big wooden door. This is Via Vecchio Bastione 5. The house is only 2-3 min walk from the port.
