The space Situated in the midst of forest and meadow relax in your very own teak-wood hot tub on a private deck overlooking the wonders of nature. Be at peace with life and nature in our pastoral cabin while being just a short distance from the wondrous Columbia River Gorge, it's world-renowned spectacular scenery and waterfalls, and the bucolic villages which line its shores. The Wild and Scenic White Salmon and Klickitat Rivers, just a few miles away, offer amazing adventures year round to outdoor enthusiasts. Whatever the season (Our Respite at Rivendell is available year-round) you are bound to be enthralled by the natural spectacle of nature and the opportunities therein to animate, energize, and satiate your entire being -- body, spirit, and soul! NOTE: Both beds are full-size Murphy Beds. Guest access Guests will have full use of the yurt -- all to themselves -- and may enjoy the meadow and the forests on all of our 41 acres plus thousands of acres of adjacent forest lands. (Note: during fire season, check first about availability of access to nearby forest lands.) Other things to note *COVID 19 NOTES: We have adopted reservation guides and sanitizing protocols to meet and exceed Governor Inslee's Emergency Proclamation mandates. We will send our "STAY HOME AT OUR PLACE" pandemic policy which guests must read and respond to in order to proceed with the booking. Key Points: *At this time we recommend guests book only for those who cohabit/live in the same residential space or "bubble." *We follow CDC and WA state sanitation guidelines *In-Person interaction between guests and caretakers during your stay is limited to needing assistance or unexpected maintenance issues. Our contact info will be provided as well. *We ask our guests when done preparing meals to help our caretakers by cleaning cooking/prep surfaces, washing and reshelving pots/pans/utensils & dishes. NOTE: Because Airbnb does not offer a Pet option for their listings, please request our permission before bringing a dog. Pet fee of $25/dog/night fee and 7.5% tax will be invoiced through the Resolution Center NOTE: We require a minimum two-night stay weekends and holidays. NOTE: We provide anti-bacterial hand soap and dish soap, but do not provide bath soap, body wash, or shampoo, or other toiletries. NOTE: While the Yurt is Wheelchair friendly and on the electrical grid there is no telephone, wi-fi, or streaming services and only sporadic cell phone signals. Access is from a 4-season gravel road. For that reason and for their safety any guests with severe physical limitations must be accompanied by at least one able-bodied adult to provide assistance with loading, unloading, and in case of an emergency. NOTE: We provide Salt & Pepper Only. Guests are encouraged to provide their spices of choice for the meals prepared on site. NOTE: Outside/Campfires: Due to insurance company policies outside fires are not allowed in our Fire Zone between May 15th and October 1st or during other times when a burn ban may be implemented by regional authorities. NOTE: During Spring, Summer, and Early Autumn there are the usual array of flying insects. Guests are encouraged to bring their preferred repellants. NOTE: The Yurt is semi-isolated but not alone. There is an on-site caretaker and a Tree House and a neighboring organic goat farm. Guests will, from time-to-time, hear the activities normal to farming, but in the distance and not up close. There is no wifi and cell reception is sporadic.
