Bürglen/Lungern is a quiet and very safe place on the countryside located between Lucerne and Interlaken - an excellent starting point for discovering the highlights of Central Switzerland and the Bernese Oberland. The bedroom and cloakroom are small and have sloping ceilings. Free use of 2 mountain bikes (shared with guests of the main residence). The availability of the bikes is not guaranteed. Please contact for access to the garage and the key code (after Check-In). Fast WiFi for home working 110 Mbit/s. The house is powered exclusively by electricity from 100% natural and renewable resources (hydropower and solar energy from Obwalden). Guest access • Complete attic flat for your own use. • Private entrance to the apartment with its own staircase over two floors (unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility). • Reserved free parking directly by the house. • Five minutes walking distance to train station Kaiserstuhl/OW. Train hourly from direction Interlaken Ost (21:11 last arrival) or from direction Lucerne (21:44 last arrival) • Later connection from Lucerne: arrival 22:12 and 23:12 with bus from Giswil. (Time table information without guarantee) Other things to note –Latest Check-In until 10.15 p.m., after only with prior agreement and compliance with the conditions (noise) –The apartment is unfortunately not suitable for guests with reduced mobility (stairs / bedroom size). –During the winter months (December to April) the Lake Lungern is used for electricity generation. During this time, the water level is greatly reduced. This only marginally affects the view from the location of the house. –The apartment is quiet, but not noiseless. The distant road is audible on the balcony as a noise, in front of the house is an access road with little (partly agricultural) traffic. –There is a restaurant in Bürglen (Wed-Sun), but no shops. Grocery shopping is possible in Lungern or Giswil (each one train station/5 min. away)
