Even when there isn’t an event on, there is always something to do. Seek refuge and relax in this home just a few steps from the beautiful rivulet. Sunfilled is the Tassie experience at its best. Reviewed as "the authentic Airbnb experience!" The space It is quiet and sunny. For those stay 3 days and over, I provide beautiful, mostly local ingredients for your first breakfast. Sleep to the gentle sound of the rivulet, dine alfresco and BBQ on the front patio overlooking trees and the rivulet. The configuration in the apartment is quite versatile. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and the option of an additional two single beds. In the main living area, there is also a foldout innerspring Queen sofa bed. We have had lots of families, small groups of friends or multiple couples visit, finding the apartment comfortable and flexible to their needs. The apartment is set up so that you can cook at home with a stove and oven. We also supply the basic ingredients such as oil, salt and pepper and soy sauce. You are also welcome to use any fresh herbs from the garden. In fact, depending on the season there will most likely be some produce in the garden that you can incorporate into your meals during a stay if you wish. We have a fantastic pellet fire to create a relaxing experience. The furniture is chosen to promote lazing while reading in the sun or by the fire. We have access to unlimited Wi-Fi for your use during your stay. Outside the apartment on the patio, there is a full-size wooden table setting which is often used for breakfast in the sun or in the evenings with wine and cheese. Just below the apartment is a large pergola area with couch seating that looks up to the beautiful kunanyi/Mt Wellington and captures both the morning and the afternoon sun perfectly. The space can be enjoyed in any of the seasons! Tasmania is famous for its choice of all-year-round experiences. The grove of silver birches just outside the apartment makes a perfect statement to each of the seasons individually. The apartment is set up to take advantage of all the seasonal weather, the cosy, snuggle of the colder months with snow on kunanyi/Mt Wellington or the beautiful long light mild nights of summer. The trees in the garden make the autumn experiences memorable and the flowers of spring display the new life of the season in all its glory. The great location is in the foothills of the beautiful kunanyi/Mt Wellington and there are walking tracks that begin close to the house and head up into the hills and mountains around. There is plenty of fascinating wildlife and bird life on the property and in the immediate surrounding area. We also live next to a little farm so you can also see ponies, goats and other farm animals over the fence. Guest access You wind down our property to find an oasis hiding from the world. Quiet, sunny and peaceful. There is some stairs. Other things to note I have a two-night minimum and in that time you can really enjoy the relaxing peaceful experience. I think most of my guests would recommend longer. We keep our space as homey as possible but also strongly try to add a feel of 'holiday life' being different. We actively promote to guests who what to have a change from daily life and slow down. We, therefore, have books, magazines, games, puzzles and Wi-Fi.
