Welcome to our home in a quiet residential area, enjoy comfy beds, your own luxury bathroom, fluffy towels, and robes. Wake up to a delightful continental breakfast with homemade bread, fresh coffee, & teas. Close to the M74 with free parking, an electric charger (a small extra charge). Just 12 minutes from Glasgow city centre by train. Also ideal for Ovo, Tollcross swimming & Emirates Stadium. Feel free to reach out with any questions or need further details. We can’t wait to host you! The space We welcome our guests to share our home with us, upstairs you have two private guest bedrooms and a guest bathroom on half landing. There's a large bright & airy Kingsized bedroom with smart TV with Netflix or a cosy twin bedroom next door. Both rooms have sound proof windows and blackout curtains/blinds and very comfy beds to help you have a good night sleep ready for your day ahead. Both rooms have wardrobes with hanging space, shelves & drawers to store your belongings, dressing table with hairdryer and straighteners and mirrors to get ready for those special occasions. We use non feather duvets & pillows and cotton bedding there's even extra blankets & hot water bottle for chilly nights and towelling dressing gowns for you to use (all you need to bring is slippers) Both rooms have selection of teas & coffee facilities and chilled bottled Scottish tap water. As we only accept one booking at a time. The bathroom is yours so you are welcome to leave you're things, you have a large walk in rain shower and double ended bath with waterfall taps and white fluffy towels. You're welcome to use the toiletries if traveling light, just don't forget your toothbrush. Breakfast will be in the kitchen/dinner where the table will be set with selection of cereals, fruit juices, fresh homemade bread & jams and if I'm around will make you fillter coffee or selection of teas, or you can just help yourself. Note: our licence only allows a maximum of four guests. Guest access As I am retired I'm usually there to let you in, please give me your ETA, if I'm not in, I'll send you key code the day before. The house is shared with myself and my wife Fiona, but you are welcome to use our modern fully fitted kitchen/dining room which leads into our garden. If like us, you love to cook, feel free to bring your own food and use the kitchen, we’ll keep a shelf in the fridge free for you to use, we have drawers full of spices that you are welcome to use. Also diwnstairs you'll find a shared downstairs loo. The house has Free Fast Fibre optic Wifi. If you are wanting to get away from the blue screen we have a selection of books and games you can borrow or just sit and relax in your room or garden (weather permitting) During your stay We travel a lot ourselves and know it helps to have some local knowledge, so unless you've already booked your event or planned your trip, we're here to help where we can. We have easy access to Tollcross swimming, Glasgow Green, SECC, OVO / Hydro and Armadillo. . We know what we expect when visiting other countries or cities. We are a very friendly easy going couple, we want you to feel relaxed sharing our home, explore Glasgow and the surrounding area and leave with good memories of Scotland.
