The space Nestled within a newly reimagined Tuscan-style garden, The Potting Shed is a soulful, garden-inspired studio retreat — a space where creativity blooms and nature wraps around you like a warm shawl. Whether you're here to write, paint, draw, read, or simply rest, this whimsical hideaway invites stillness and inspiration in equal measure. Step outside to take in tree-lined vistas and birdsong, or curl up in a wingback chair under the light-filled glass bell tower, where natural light, fresh air, and soft sounds drift in. Ring the bell to mark your arrival — a quiet ritual to begin your stay. This winter, the garden continues its transformation into a Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary. Wander past rosemary and citrus, then gather around your private firepit with mulled wine or a warming cup of tea. A gentle water feature will add to the sensory calm, while the outdoor setting echoes Acre of Roses' sustainable ethos and the rhythm of the land. Inside, you’ll find a touch of rustic luxury — from the walk-in copper rain shower and antique basin to the beautifully restored Mont Eltham pot belly stove, paired with modern climate control for year-round comfort. A plush Queen bed by the French doors promises long, dreamy sleeps. Bring your favourite doggo along (one permitted with prior approval) and share the joy of slow living. Guest access The Potting Shed is accessed off the main driveway. It is fully fenced and totally private. We do ask that your "best" friend is leashed at all times whilst in the driveway area. Other things to note The Potting Shed is situated on the Acre of Roses property where its sister Accommodation The Miners Cottage is located. Both are separate and very private. The Rose Farm and Folly are by appointment only.
