The space Barrenjoey encompasses 42 acres of wonderland! Accessible areas include extensive gardens surrounding the house and cottage, dams, a native forest as well as thousands of forestry trees; superb birdlife; a cubby-house and resident kangaroos. Dogs are welcome to share in the adventure! Settle in and enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Guest access Winton Road is a quiet, scenic dirt road tucked away between Gumeracha and Birdwood and is lined with magnificent river gums. Access to Barrenjoey can be made via either town. Prior to your stay you are given all the information you require, including directions and access. This helps make your arrival fuss free. Other things to note Winton Road is a picturesque seven kilometre stretch of unsealed road. At one end is the pretty township of Gumeracha and at the other end is Birdwood and the Australian Motor Museum. To the north is The Barossa, to the west is The Murray, to the south is McLaren Vale and Victor Harbor and in the east we have the City of Adelaide.
