Located in the tiny hamlet of Deerhurst Walton, the property is a converted Grade II listed Dovecote. Set in the grounds of a 17th century farm, this romantic 2 bedroomed conversion provides the ideal centre for exploring Gloucestershire, including the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. The Dovecote has been lovingly converted into a 2 bedroom property with comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people whilst retaining the character and history of the original building. The space The accommodation comprises a well presented interior and furnishings. Downstairs consists of an open plan area with wood burner and French windows overlooking the duck pond. The kitchen benefits from modern built in appliances together with gas fired central heating. Dining area for 4 people. In Summer, take advantage of the outside gravelled area with table, chairs and BBQ overlooking the scenic duck pond. In winter enjoy the cosy woodburner whilst watching the wildlife outside including ducks, moorhens and the occasional visit from a kingfisher or make use of the selection of books, games and dvds. Upstairs both bedrooms are tastefully furnished and provide a high level of comfort. The first floor has high ceilings and exposed beams and a number of the original pigeon holes have been retained and incorporated into the building. Bedroom 1: double room with a king size bed with views over the duck pond. Bedroom 2: is a twin comprising of a single and a double bed. A private drive leads up to other properties and you are kindly asked to respect the privacy of the other owners.
