There are a few cottages, a tearoom, plant nursery and a pub right opposite our house, Triscombe Farm. Our Victorian barns were built in the late 1800s. Cattle used to roam in what is now the Cows Barn and you can guess what the Hay Barn was used for. Above the tackroom, the stable groom kept himself warm by the fireplace which you can still find in the Grooms Studio. Brick detailing around windows and doors show the age of the stable block. The tack room has its original saddle mounts and oak stables are keeping the original style. Hay is now stored in the coach house. Guest access The barns have their own entrance and parking separate from the house but shared by the horse stables. You are welcome to go for a walk on our 30 acre farm; through fields with sheep and horses, follow the tracks in our little wood and cross the stream. Other things to note Please note the barns are close to our stables and riding arena, we spend quite a bit of time there :) .
