Farm stay, in beautiful rural Monmouthshire

We are a working dairy goat farm, milking 600 goats twice a day. Our milk goes into a delicious soft goats cheese, which is made in the neighbouring town of Abergavenny and sold through many of the large supermarkets. We are ideally situated for cycling and walking, with many footpaths nearby, including Offa's Dyke and a fabulous range of mountains. We are within 2 miles of the renowned Michelin star Walnut Tree Inn and there are many other wonderful country pubs in the locality. The space We renovated our holiday let pre covid, into a spacious 1 bedroom, self catering apartment. It adjoins the main farmhouse and has its own front door and private outdoor sitting area, which is a fabulous sun trap in the spring and summer. It has 1 bedroom, with underfloor heating. It usually has a king sized bed, which can easily be switched to twins if necessary. Please let me know at time of booking, if you’d prefer it to be twin beds. It has a well equipped kitchen, with a breakfast bar and small dining table and chairs. The seating area has a lovely view of the field outside and my daughter’s horse often peers in through the window! As we are a working farm, there may be tractors working, goats bleating, cows mooing, horses neighing, dogs barking, cats meowing and birds singing!!! If you have time, I would love to show you around the farm and introduce you to our goats. They love to chat to our guests! If you are lucky enough to visit when they are kidding, there is nothing more wonderful than a cuddle with a goat kid!! On clear nights, we have the most amazing view of the moon and the stars. We have space available for you to put bicycles if necessary.
