CaseMaggi Penthouse on the Sea, Portovenere

Welcome to CaseMaggi! Our Attico (Penthouse) apartment in Portovenere is the top floor of a 3-story building high above street level. It has the most spectacular, unobstructed views of Golfo dei Poeti and Palmaria Island. There are 107 steps to reach this paradise (no elevator). Sleeps 4 adults & 1 child/teenager. The apartment is a 15 min walk to beaches, port, restaurants and has access to the beach via private stairway. Ferries to Cinque Terre/Palmaria are at the port. 011022-LT-0099 CITRA The space All rooms in the apartment face the sea and Golfo dei Poeti. The master bedroom, has a queen size bed with memory foam topper and jet tub plus a door to the terrace overlooking the beaches and Golfo dei Poeti. The living & dining open space has a full kitchen, with a door to the terrace and has two very large windows in the corner where you overlook Palmaria island, the Bay of Poets and you can see down to the Versilia coast. There is a queen size wall bed that pulls down over the sofa plus a single bed that pulls down under the TV. The apartment has been recently remodeled. The kitchen is ready for any cook with all the necessary equipment to make great dinners: knives, cutting boards, pots & pans. The stove top is induction. There is a Lavazza modo mio espresso machine as well as a hot water kettle and moka coffee maker. Guest access There is no elevator. Our building is higher than street level, there are two and a half sets of external steps to the building entrance, and two floors inside the building to the penthouse apartment. There are a total of 107 steps. Those with limited mobility may have difficulty without assistance. There is also a private access to the sea, via a locked staircase (a key for the gate is in provided) across the street in front on the building. Other things to note Registration process Please provided your identity documents prior to arrival. Parking: We do not have parking on site. There is street parking as well as a parking lot at the town entrance. Parking can be a challenge in peak summer months in this small town. If you can come by train it’s easier. Portovenere has three zones for street parking: P1, P2, and P3. The zone near the apartment is P3.
