Blythewood Bungalow

Our cozy cottage is located in Blythewood SC in between Columbia(18 Miles) and Chatlotte(77 Miles) and only about a mile from I-77. So travelling is super easy. It's ideal for business travelers, golfers, small groups or individuals wanting a private residence. We are restoring this mid-1970's home and love the location and functionality. There is plenty of parking and a fenced yard. The space We're located on Blythewoood Road, which makes directions and travels super easy and efficient. There are several golf courses within 5-10 minute drive and we commute to Columbia daily...its really easy. We do not supply groceries nor toiletries. So please prepare. If you are new to AirBNB, please keep in mind that we are not a hotel and are able to keep our costs low with the help of our guests respecting our property and giving us constructive feedback. However, we will provide essentials as noted in the listing. We love providing a space for our guests and we are constantly improving the property to create a better experience. As the AirBNB network grows, we have all types of personalities that expect certain standards. Please inquire if you have specific questions about the space and be sure to leave the property in good condition when you check out. If there's ever an issue with anything, please notify us immediately and we will do our best to correct any issue. Guest access It's the entire house to yourself. Please note that we have garage/workshop on the property that you will not have access to. We rent this space separately to a local who uses the space for his small business. It’s mainly for storage but you may see someone over there working occasionally. It’s basically a private office and storage facility with no foot traffic. Other things to note You will have some traffic noise from the 2-lane road by the house. During the mornings, and evening you will have some noise. Some people are more sensitive than others about this. We are on well-water and a septic system. We have an elaborate & professionally installed water softener and filtration system. It's very common in our area to have well-water and septic systems. Any house built prior to 1978 has the risk of lead paint. We are unaware of any lead paint in the house. When we purchased it, there was no paint inside.... It was all wood paneling until we painted it. But if you have any concerns please contact us and we will explain. Our garage/shop next door shouldn't have any traffic in or out of that gate and building. It does belong to us, so you shouldn't see anyone over there except us. We are constantly improving our home. We strive to create a space that is affordable and we are always improving the property for a better experience. We realize that our kitchen is dated.
