Catskills Mountain House with a Separate Cottage on a Creek

Beautifully furnished & charming with plenty of outdoor space to play around, have a fire, grill- and beautiful barn. A small stream runs on the edge of the property, perfect to sit beside, and a guest cottage with extra sleeping space (queen, trundle and aerobeds/ bathroom). It's full of unique, hand-crafted and antique furnishing and decor, (fun-fact, former residence of Freakonomics author Stephen Dubner). You'll have free range of the whole place! Shandaken STR Licence #2024-STR-AO-105. The space 3 Bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms in the main house, and a guest cottage (just across the front patio / 30 feet away) with lots of extra sleeping space (queen bed, single day bed, aero bed and a bathroom / shower). Cozy, with an indoor woodstove, custom made local furnishings, firepit and grill outside. The house is on a beautiful hill in the Catskill Mountains—it's rural, but close to the cute town of Phoenicia. Dozens of hiking trails are nearby. Esopus Creek has fishing and inner-tubing, and Belleayre and Hunter mountains offer ski slopes. You'll definitely need a car-- but plenty of parking is available on site should you have multiple cars. Guest access You'll have free range of the whole place!
