The resort property is perched on the Les Cheneaux (Snows) Channel, offering a serene lakeside retreat in the picturesque Les Cheneaux Islands, located along the northern shore of Lake Huron. Bass Cove Cabin invites guests to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the area. Whether you're exploring the stunning surroundings or simply relaxing by the water, this cabin offers an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Bass Cove Cabin is set back off the water and is just a short stroll across the yard to the beach, docks and spacious grounds of Les Cheneaux Landing Resort (LCL). Two bedrooms: Each bedroom is furnished with comfortable, full-sized beds, ensuring a restful stay. Bed linens and pillows are furnished. We ask our renters to provide their own bath and kitchen linens. The living room couch also makes into a twin size bed. Combination Kitchen/Dining/Living Room: Whip up delicious meals with ease in the fully equipped kitchen while enjoying the rustic charm of the cabin. The interior of this cabin was updated in 2021 with new flooring, kitchen cabinets, countertops, furnishings and appliances. One bathroom: The bathroom has a fiberglass stall shower, toilet & sink. Porch: There’s a cozy, little porch at the entryway, ideal for relaxing with a book, enjoying your morning coffee, or having an evening cocktail. Picnic table and charcoal grill: A family size picnic table and grill are provided. Sandy Beach: Just steps away from the cabin, the sandy beach offers the perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming, or building sandcastles with the family. Community Firepit: Nestled on the beach, the community firepit offers a lakeside gathering spot. Spacious Yard: All cabin renters at LCL have full access to the yard, sand beach volleyball court, horseshoes, swing set, basketball court, sandy swimming beach area and docks. Dock Slip Rentals: LCL’s location on Snows Channel is the ideal spot for boating enthusiasts. Our new docks (built in 2020 & 2024) can accommodate most any size boat as well as provide the perfect spot for catching some rays, relaxing on the deck, or enjoying a good book. Fishing Boat Rentals: Outboard fishing boats are available to rent. Dog Friendly: Your dog is welcome to accompany you on your vacation adventures. The charge for a dog is $20 per night/$100 per week with a limit of 2 dogs per cabin. You will be asked to sign a dog agreement & waiver form. This form can be sent prior to your stay, upon request. Restaurants/Tourist Attractions: Cedarville & Hessel offer an array of dining options & nearby tourist attractions.Snows Bar & Grill: A local favorite, located across the street from LCL, known for its lodge decor, outdoor dining, live music, and good food, including their famous “Snows Burger.” Ang-Gio’s Restaurant: Family-friendly with Italian/American menu options & great pizza! The Les Cheneaux Distillery - Offers craft spirits & delicious food. Cattails Cove: Another excellent choice, known for its yellow perch sandwich. The Islander Bar: In Hessel, providing a unique atmosphere & a variety of food options. The Les Cheneaux Culinary School: Also in Hessel, offers a unique dining experience with its focus on locally sourced ingredients and culinary education.
