Cozy studio apartment, located in the bohemian quarter of Skopje, Debarmaalo, next to the Church of St. Clement of Ohrid, the largest orthodox temple of the Macedonian Orthodox Church today, often called simply “Soborna Crkva”, BUT still extremely quiet location. You will be happy not to use transportation at all, since the main downtown attractions; the city park; the old Turkish Bazaar; etc. are within walking distance. The space The studio apartment placed on the second floor of the brand new extra modern building, build in 2013, is located in the bohemian part of Skopje so called “Debar Maalo”, only 5-7 minutes’ walk to the main City Square, the pedestrian zone, and 7-10 minutes’ walk to the City Park and the Zoo Garden. The interior of the studio apartment will make you feel like leaving the dream of 19th Century. All the little details of furniture pieces are antique and completely unique, contributing the priceless artistic value of the entire space. Opposite the antique furniture from 19th Century in the space, there is air condition and heating in the studio and the kitchen is fully equipped with modern cooking facilities (washing machine, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, kettle, etc.) and mattress with a memory foam. The studio apartment’s private bathroom with bathtub is spacious and the balcony overlooks the quiet exterior public part of the building. The studio apartment has one double bed with memory foam mattress and one pull out sofa bed and can accommodate two adult and one kid, since the pull out sofa bed is wide 1.20m. PRIVATE PARKING IN A GARAGE for one car at reserved parking place, which is connected with the studio within direct interior elevator, can be provided upon additional request without extra charge for the guests who will stay 14 days or more. For short period of stay, parking in a garage can be provided with extra charge of 10 EUR per day, regardless if you use the garage for 2 hours per day or 24 hours per day. Parking outside in the area of Debarmaalo/ Center Municipality of Skopje is limited to maximum 2 hours (with parking ticket) after that time you will have to move the car to other location. If you want to reserve rental of the parking place in a garage, you should request for booking via messages at Airbnb at least 3-4 days in advance, so I can confirm if the reserved parking place will be available for the required dates or not. At least 6 coffee bars are located only 2 minutes walk from the building, offering free Wi-Fi and good service and just 3 to 5 minutes walk the best restaurant can be found, where you can experience the true Macedonian food and atmosphere. Moreover, rock clubs, pubs and night clubs are in the same vicinity of the studio apartment. Within 3 minutes walk supermarket can be found open every day until 10:00 p.m. and in the same vicinity Green Market (fresh local fruits and vegetables) and Bakery are located. Even though the location of building is in the bohemian part of the City Center, the studio apartment is not facing the main busy street, hence, is extremely quiet during the working days and you can enjoy in your relaxation. Please beware that Friday’s and Saturday’s music can be heard, coming from the coffee bar Heard Bar Skopje which is located on the ground floor at the same building where the apartment is. The coffee bar working hours during Friday’s and Saturday’s is until 1:00am. Guest access Entire studio apartment Other things to note Long term renal are obliged to have cleaning of the apartment minimum ones every 10 days, when the cleaning lady will clean the apartment, change the bed sheets and towels. The guest will have to cover the charge for the cleaning lady, paid directly to her in cash. The cost is 1.200 MkD which is approximately 20 Eur According to the rules and regulations of North Macedonia same as in the entire Europe every guest has to be registered at Ministry of Internal Affairs regardless if he/she is staying at the hotel, private accommodation or even visiting a friend. All guests will need to provide data for registration before their arrival.
