A charming wooden chalet situated in the most idyllic location at the bottom of a large mature garden. Secret Chalet offers a peaceful accommodation suitable for two people. It overlooks open countryside with fabulous views and is set in a quiet secluded garden. You also have the use of the large garden and orchard. It is perfect for those looking for bird song, star gazing and nature. The space Just a short walk off the River Otter with lovely riverside walks, the renowned Golden Lion Inn at Tipton St John is a gentle stroll, serving excellent food. Harpford is a peaceful little hamlet on the banks of the River Otter, in the middle of the glorious East Devon countryside. The seaside towns of Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton are an easy 10 to 15-minute drive away From the parking space, walk approximatly 30m to the chalet. On the left-hand side there is a double bed room with an en suite walk in shower and WC. There is a handy storage cupboard in the hall with a washing machine and space to hang coats. On the right-hand side is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. French doors lead out onto a patio area with a table and chairs. There is Private parking for 2 cars on the driveway by the main house. The fencing to the left of the chalet is secure, however there is no gate at the far end of the garden by the main house. Nearby attractions include the Norman Lockyer observatory, River Cottage HQ, The Donkey Sanctuary, Otterton Mill, Stuart Line Cruises, Seaton Tramway and RSPB Nature reserves. There are also delicious restaurants to taste the best of the South West Produce such as The Pea Green Boat, The Pig at Combe, The River Exe Cafe and Lympstone Manor. Other things to note Pets - 2 well behaved dogs accepted at £30 each/week which is not included in the booking price. Please let us know after booking so we can add the separate fee via Airbnb.
