This guest suite has all the comforts of home. It's a comfortable walk or bike ride to the Hall of Fame, historic downtown, the Farmer's Museum and beautiful Otsego Lake. A 24-hour grocery store is around the corner and we're close to the trolley that will take you all over Cooperstown in the summer. And it's only a 10 minute drive to Brewery Ommegang. Please note, there is no TV or cable in the suite. Just Wi-Fi. The guest suite is in the back of my house, and is modern and comfortable. There are double-locking doors separating the apartment from my living area, so you have full privacy. There is also a full deck with a gas grill & table out your door for you to enjoy. I'm here to help, so please let me know if there's anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable! You will have off-street parking and a private entrance to your village apartment. Enjoy the lovely deck over the back yard with a table, benches, grill, and a view of the hills. I'm usually nearby if you need anything. I'm out of town some weekends, but I check my messages and notifications regularly. The neighborhood is wonderful for children. There are two great playgrounds within walking distance, as well as the grocery store and the gym (which is the site of the HOF induction ceremony). There are also a lot of great geocaches nearby. In the summer, you can hop on trolley a few blocks from the house. There is room for your one car in the driveway. You're very close to all local attractions: Baseball Hall of Fame, Brewery Ommegang, Glimmerglass Opera, Dreams Park, Five Mile Point, Fairy Springs, Glimmerglass State Park, and more! I bought the house a few years ago and the outside is a bit shabby. I am slowly renovating it. The guest suite however is newly renovated. Thank you for understanding that a house, like all of us, is a work in progress. I have a cat named Sophie. She likes to visit and is very friendly. Please don't let her in the apartment.
