Old barn restored in an alpine hamlet next to La Grave, quiet, at the start of cross-country ski trails and close to many cross-country ski trails. It is a large loft of 100 m2 with a large living room of 50 m2, a large mezzanine dormitory with a cabin bed and a second mezzanine for more privacy. We can accommodate 6 to 8 people without worries! Ideal for skiing, hiking, climbing, and even swimming (baths and lakes). Grenoble, 1h30, Briançon 30 min The space The cottage occupies an old barn in an alpine hamlet. It has become a 70 m2 loft, with a 30 m2 mezzanine dormitory upstairs partitioned into 3 spaces: a cabin bed, a perched house, a large modular space. We have kept the rustic side with a mountain atmosphere through the materials used (slate, wood, earth, stone, lime and hemp, etc.), the heating is ecological with wood pellets for underfloor heating, there is also a wood stove, and solar panels to avoid drawing on natural resources as much as possible! In the dormitory, the mattresses are on the floor (to be arranged as you wish); there is a double bed in a cabin, as well as a second mezzanine under the roofs accessible by a ladder. There is a library and various board games... A kitchen area with all amenities (dishwasher, etc.); A washing machine is accessible in an outbuilding. In front of the bay window, facing south, a large terrace to enjoy the sun of the Hautes Alpes. Guest access 180 km and 1h30 from Grenoble by the D1091. After Vilar d'Arène (coming from Grenoble), take the road on the right indicating Arsine / le Pied du Col to the hamlet (2 km). For those coming from the south, Sisteron - Briançon - Col du Lautaret Please let us know the day before or in the morning of your arrival time on the phone number above. For your arrival, it is easier to park at the entrance to the village, and you walk to the house (100 m) following the signs "snowshoe trails", it is the main path. It is the third townhouse before the end of the hamlet. (You arrive on the south side of the house). You'll bring the car later. In winter, cars stay at the entrance to the village, but we have a sled! Other things to note GR, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails in front of the house.
