Enjoy a memorable vacation in this 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath adorable home in the quiet Key West style community of Bahamas Beach Cottages. The house is 1.6 miles from the shops and boardwalk of Bethany Beach. South Bethany Beach is 0.9 miles, a 10 minute bike ride or 20minute walk. The space Interact easily with your group as all rooms are located on one floor in an open concept space. The high ceilings and sky lights create a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an attached 1/2 bathroom. The second bedroom has a twin-sized loft above a twin-sized bed, and there is a twin bed next to it. A full bathroom is located in the hall between both bedrooms with a bathtub and shower. The living room area has a comfortable sectional with a full size sofa bed and a 55” HDTV with DVD player for your viewing pleasure. Wifi is included and TV has an Amazon Fire Stick. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for dining with an island that seats 6, large stainless steel refrigerator, brand new quiet, stainless steel dishwasher, new stainless steel range, microwave, Duo coffee maker for pods or drip coffee, and all the dishes, pots and pans, and utensils you need. There is a new gas grill outside with a picnic table as well. Wash the salt and sand away in the refreshing outdoor shower. Enjoy your coffee or cool beverage on the front porch. Our quiet street has 6 houses with a dead end and no through traffic. The unit is pet and smoke free. Guest access The house is on pilings with off street parking for 3 cars maximum, as well as space for your bikes, chairs, and beach toys. There are 13 steps outside of the unit to get from parking below to main floor. Well lit, outdoor steps take you from the parking area to the unit above. An extra parking lot is located just behind the unit near the entrance to the Bahamas Beach Cottages neighborhood. Guests have access to the entire unit, except the owners' locked sheds and attic. 4 beach chairs are provided and in good condition. Other things to note 1. Just behind our unit near the entrance to the Bahamas Beach Community, is a canal launch, so bring your kayaks or paddle boards. A nature trail runs along the canal and next to the neighborhood perfect for walks and exploring. Two neighborhood ponds provide a great place to relax, fish or view the sunsets. 2. When you arrive, please see the house binder for Wifi access, garbage and recycling days, air conditioning instructions, and other important information. 3. Please use aerosol sunscreens outside and away from the house. 4. Cable tv is not included. Amazon Fire Stick for streaming is provided for your subscriptions. 5. Linens and towels are not provided, as with most rentals in the area, but can be rented in town from several vendors. (Cleaning services do not stay long enough to wash and dry multiple loads of linens.) 6. The house is not child proofed. Please monitor children during stay. 7. Paper/plastic products (toilet paper, paper towels, 13 gallon trash bags, 4 gallon recycling bags) and soaps (hand, dish, body & laundry) are not provided, but might be left over from previous guests. 8. Extra pillows and comforters are in closets if needed.
