The space Relax in this charming modern cabin, located on top of a hill in Zarcero, Costa Rica—built in solid concrete and high ceilings lined with rustic wood grown by grandfather “Bando”. A brick wall brings warmth and character to the cozy living room, where you can open the sliding glass doors to enjoy the scenery or close them for privacy. It has two bedrooms: one with a queen size bed and another with a bunk bed (full size bed below, twin above). Both have blackout blinds, Smart TVs with access to Netflix and YouTube, and high-quality bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped (glass-ceramic, refrigerator, small appliances, utensils, coffee, salt/pepper), perfect for long stays or weekend getaways. In the evening, enjoy a family movie or relax on the large outdoor terrace with a gas fire pit (available for $15 per stay). This space is ideal for reading, having coffee, dining outdoors, or working remotely surrounded by nature. Guest access Only 1.5 km from the town center of Zarcero, with easy access via car or local taxi. You’ll find restaurants, cafés, and markets nearby. The cabin includes free private parking suitable for all vehicle types. On rare occasions throughout the year, the main pipe may suffer damage, and the water service can be temporarily affected. To ensure your comfort, we have a 2,500-liter reserve tank on the property, which helps us manage these situations as smoothly as possible. During such times, we kindly ask guests to use water responsibly and only for essential needs, so it lasts until the regular service is restored. While we have clear quiet-hours rules and ask all guests to respect them, please note that this cabin is part of a living community surrounded by nature. You may occasionally hear sounds from neighboring properties, local community activities, nearby animals (such as roosters, dogs, or cows), or natural sounds typical of the rural environment—especially early in the morning or around sunset. We do our best to provide a peaceful and comfortable stay; however, some of these factors are beyond our direct control.
