The Glamping lodge sits on 2 hectares of beachfront land, known as Plengkung Beach and is surrounded by 55.000 hectares of tropical rainforest. The Alas Purwo National Park hosts spectacular un-spoilt white sandy beaches, where on any given day the only foot prints found on the beaches are of wildlife for which the park provides sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to an abundance of flora and fauna, with over 227 recorded species of bird-life. It is also sanctuary to some of Java’s most endangered species, such as the Banteng (Bos javanicus), the Dhole, Javan Langur, Green Pea-Fowl, Red Junglefowl, Olive Ridley, Hawksbill Turtle and Green Turtle.
