Seaview, Swanage; beachfront, balcony & central

Excellent location, with sea views from the balcony, lounge and bedroom of our Edwardian flat. The two bed flat is roomy with fireplace, high ceilings, a well equipped kitchen, king size bedroom and large back bedroom with 2 singles and 2 full size pull out beds. Linen supplied except towels. TV, good wifi, books games and beach stuff available. One family car space outside plus off street nearby free. Located in the old town, 2 min. walk from all facilities No smoking in flat or balcony The space The 1st floor balcony flat has a pedestrian path in front but the public are unable to see in. The sea is ten paces from the front door with a cafe and bakery within a few minutes walk. The beautiful Victorian balcony has seating and a small table. The decor is magnolia/white/cream with high ceilings, wooden floor in the lounge and seaside colours giving a feeling of space - the flat is a good size. Newly decorated this year Guest access Door leads to entrance hall and stairs to first floor. Parking outside (marked 12A) is fine for large family cars but not for vans or oversized cars -free parking is within 5 minutes walk (please see the photograph on the listing). Swanage is also a winter destination (Christmas market) shops open but limited restaurants Monday/Tuesday however there is an active cold winter early swimming group (brrrr). Swanage has a micro-climate and sun often shines when other places are dull. Roaring waves splashing onto the walkway during winter storms - kids love it! Other things to note Traffic free pathway in front can be busy in summer with pedestrians ( they cannot see you) but not out of season. The back bedroom is very quiet and has its own fire exit. Noise is not a problem except breaking waves and lapping of the sea. Street entrance to parking place is narrow and over long cars might have problems parking. Normal family car fine.
