Jellicoe Drive, Hayes Paddock Studio

Modern studio guesthouse with en suite bathroom and shower. Located in Hayes Paddock, Hamilton East along the Waikato river. The studio is behind our family home. We are across the road from the river walks, bus stop and a few blocks from Hayes common cafe. Minutes by car to the gardens, hospital and city centre or walk along the river one way to the garden or the other to the CBD. A great base to explore Hamilton or the wider Waikato region! The space Stylish and beautiful space with fresh flowers and quality linen including some Sage & Clare. Comfortable bed with Innature organic latex mattress and Fairydown duvet. The en suite bathroom has a large shower head and great water pressure. There is a small bar fridge with bottled water and milk. A selection of organic Zealong tea, plunger coffee, hot chocolate, Whittakers chocolate are provided. There is a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Breakfast can be arranged if enough notice is given but we normally recommend our local cafe it is open every day. We have WiFi not a great signal and there is a TV. There is security lighting on the property and latches on the windows. We often have native birds visit our garden trees. At certain times of the year you can see hot air balloons in the sky. Guest access To access the guest house you walk up our driveway to the left of our house ie not private entrance or exit . The concrete driveway is uneven at the bottom due to tree roots. The studio is located in our backyard behind our home and is not fenced off and you can see the back of our home and the cedar panelled wall side of our garage from the space. Parking is off street but please ask if you need on street parking. Other things to note Your hosts are local , William was born in Hamilton and Natasha in Africa. We love Hamilton especially Hamilton East which is why we chose to live here! William works as a welder he is a keen kayak fisherman. Natasha is an optometrist and a stay home mum. Natasha loves creative things, design and sport. We have 9 and 6 year old children they can be heard laughing or playing at times. There is also a resident golden retriever dog and ragdoll cat. We enjoy hosting and meeting people from around the world and New Zealand and sharing our part of the world with you. Hayes Common cafe is our local eatery only 2 blocks away from us provides a great close eating out or eating in option (note- it is only open for dinners Wednesdays to Sunday and closed Mondays).
