Ocean view, sun, tranquility on Cape Verd

Me(h)r, space, tranquility and cozy. In my small, but still spacious private apartment above (10 min hiking trail) the most beautiful place of Santo Antao you come back to yourself. An ideal base for your little getaway and/or new experiences. Please carefully read the description before you book.!!! The space The location is unique. Out of the hustle and bustle, but quickly in the center. Very suitable for a longer stay to come and explore the island. But: it is Cape Verde, please do not expect absolutely European standard!!! Please read it carefully! That means specifically: you have complete peace in the morning, in the afternoon and evening, except from 9-15 o'clock, as then a small car repair shop is in operation at the house. Due to the climate (constant wind, so dust and spray) and the special location of the house rotates everything very quickly, dust/sand penetrates through the cracks, in some times there are flies that you hardly get rid of. Everything is kept in the best condition that is possible, but a * quality according to the European hotel standard is not possible for me. It is not a hotel, not a vacation rental, but my second home. The water is precious and very expensive, but absolutely not drinkable. And it can also be hourly (like the power). Canisters, candles, and flashlights. The drain in the bathroom can smell, and the toilet is NOT set up for transporting paper and other. It clogs right away. Due to the increasingly extreme weather (heavy rain, storm), the path ( it's the hiking trail to the neighboring village) can sometimes be in not so good condition on the last meters to the house, just like the last 3 meters to the house. But they are trying to keep him alive. A normal condition is sensible. This also applies to the road to the house (no road!!!!!) So DON'T expect car access to the house - (it's a hiking island, not a driving island) It's a place to come to. There is NO TV or wifi!!!! Reception is there, get yourself a stick or SIM card for it. The island is still quite safe, but... tourism leaves its negative traces. Therefore, take the information from my contact person on site seriously. It's my private apartment. And I have set up with a lot of effort so that you/I can feel comfortable. I also had to bring almost all things Hamburg, because there is NO quality on Cape Verde. This means that even things that look simple have come a long way by luggage and plane from Hamburg. AND ... for all questions I (and Carla) are there. But please, if you do not want to or can not get involved in Cape Verde or Santo Antao, take another accommodation!!!! There are now some in place. En raison du temps de plus en plus extrême (forte pluie, tempête) le chemin (c'est la piste vers le village voisin) sur les derniers mètres de la maison parfois dans un état pas si bon, ainsi que les 3 derniers mètres de la maison. Mais il essaie de continuer comme ça. Une condition normale est déjà sensible. Cela s'appique également à l 'alléede la maison (pas de route !!!!!) Donc, ne vous attendez pas à un accès voiture à la maison - (c'est une île de randonnée, pas d 'île de service) Et aussi un endroit à visiter. Il n'y a pas de télévision ou WiFi !!!! La réception est là, procurez-vous un stick ou une carte SIM pour cela. L'île est toujours en sécurité, mais ... Le tourisme laisse sa marque négative. Par conséquent, prenez le conseil de ma personne de contact locale au sérieux. C'est mon apartment private. Et j'ai mis en place beaucoup d 'efforts pour que je puisse me sentir bien.
