Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. Escape to the country for a few days and write your own love story. The space Hemingway's on the Hill is a self contained cottage with beautiful views. Private, set in its own garden room. Outdoor bath, fire pit, gorgeous luxurious linen and comfortable bed and furniture. The main house, the original 100 year old Dairy farmhouse is nearby. You share the garden with Curlews, Sun birds, Fig birds and more. There are birds, butterflies and native animals to watch from the verandah. The cottage is fully screened so the wildlife will stay wild. Central to a fantastic growing tourism region, waterfalls and bush walking. Swimming at Lake Eacham is a short drive away. The area has the most wonderful and diverse fauna and flora. Also you can indulge your tastes in the developing tropical food experiences, local cheeses, coffee, tea, hand picked strawberries, local ice-cream, farmers markets, cooking schools etc. Hemingway's is not suitable for children under 7 years old. Guest access The door will be unlocked from 2pm. Please let yourselves in. Key hanging inside. You will have the cabin and the lawn area in front of Hemingway's on the hill. You can park near the Hemingways sign or anywhere in front ( facing west, the view) of the building. There are two entrances. Front or side. Other things to note Provided breakfast ingredients include, eggs, bread, bacon, muesli, milk, butter, raw sugar, jam and honey, tea, coffee/coffee plunger, Nespresso machine and pods.
