Camp Agos Daraitan (Firefly House)

Our camp is located at Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal, approximately 2 hours away from Manila. Situated just in front of a river, it is an ideal place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Note that our camp isn’t for everyone. If you are looking for a fancy accommodation, highly sensitive to nature’s elements (e.g. bugs, insects, etc.) or not used to roughing it out, our place may not suit you. We offer a unique experience for those who want to embrace nature in all its glory. The space Camp Agos' Firefly House is a three-story bamboo house with breathtaking views of the Agos River and the surrounding mountains. This is perfect for those who want to chill and connect with nature. Due to the steep stairs and quirky profile of this house, this may not be suitable for very young children or persons who are not able-bodied. The place is ideal for staycation but if you wish to do other activities, below are some fun ideas for you and your crew: -Swim at Agos River located just in front of the property -Start a bonfire, roast marshmallows and make s'mores -Grab a beer, ride a "salbabida" and float all your worries away -Try fishing like a local (you can use our fishing gears for free) -Fly a kite and relive your childhood days (you may borrow our kite for free) -Stargaze (best enjoyed on the 2nd floor balcony) -Experience river tubing (can be arranged upon request) -Hike and conquer the summit of Mt. Daraitan (can be arranged upon request) -Explore Tinipak river and its amazing rock formations (can be arranged upon request) -Visit a secluded and hidden falls (can be arranged upon request) How to get here? -Pin "Camp Agos Daraitan" on your Waze app or G map. Upon arrival, you may park your car in the designated parking area in front of our property. -No need to trek. -Our property is accessible even with sedan. -Upon confirmation of your booking, we will share the info sheets to help you prepare for your stay and the detailed guide with photos on how to reach our camp. Other things to note CHECK-IN TIME: -2:00pm onwards CHECK-OUT TIME: -12:00noon NUMBER OF GUESTS ALLOWED: -Base price is good for 6 pax only. We can accommodate more guests but we will charge an additional fee of Php500 per head in excess of 6 pax. We can also set up tents if needed with no extra fee. INCLUSIONS: -1 set bonfire -Use of game boards and drinking cards -Use of fishing gears -Use of kites -Use of charcoal stove and BBQ griller (option to use our gas stove for a minimal fee) -Use of kitchen essentials and cooking tools (please observe CLAYGO) -Provision for additional tents (if needed) OTHER NOTES: -We are located in an area with rich biodiversity. Insects and other elements of nature cannot be completely avoided. We will provide mosquito nets but we also encourage our guests to bring an insect repellent lotion or a few sets of mosquito-repelling incense. -There is a dedicated bathroom and kitchen for Firefly House. Use of these facilities are exclusive for your group. -We are 100% solar-powered. Our energy source is limited, thus, we will only allow charging of phones and small gadgets. -Upon confirmation of your booking, we will share the standard FAQs, detailed guide and other relevant information to help you prepare for your stay. We will also require you to fill up our online pre-arrival form and health declaration form which will take you less than 2 minutes to accomplish. -Ate Tina and Kuya Inggo will be present to assist you during your stay. We also have a 3rd staff named "Payat". We are currently in the process of making her fat so feel free to feed her or play with her anytime. She guards the camp at night and she is a dog. "Payat" recently gave birth to our 4th staff named "Puma". If you are a pet-lover, you'll surely adore them. =) -Note that Camp Agos cannot be held liable for any damages, loss, accidents or injuries while inside our premises.
