3B Serene Comfort&Budget - 87 OldTown @ River Pier

One of the best hideaway in Bangkok oldtown, in a tranquil section of the old town surrounded by prince palaces. Only 5 private guestrooms; each with private bath. The room is on 3rd floor of the newly renovated apartment building. It features top quality mattress, has ample natural light. This room is most suitable for guests on a budget, not wanting a view but still not willing to walk to 4th floor. The space This small apartment building has plenty of open space and an internal courtyard so there's plenty of natural light and airflow. The building is shared among my relatives but most of the rooms are now used to receive guests. This booking is specifically for room 3B on 3rd floor. (check out 5 other rooms in this house. 2A 3A and 4A room are with a nice city view on 2nd, 3rd and 4th fl. respectively. 2B, 3B and 4B are in the back so there's no view. High floor has better view but you need to climb a bit more stairs. So please choose the one you prefer.) All room is good sized compared to a standard hotel room. It can accommodate 3 guests when an extra bed is put in. The space is just enough in this case and so suitable for 3 guests who do not require very big space. From the rooftop balcony you can see Rama VIII bridges and the Chao Phraya river. Please feel free to use the reception area and kitchenette on ground floor. Filtered drinking water and coffee (make your own) is available for free. You can also use the washing machine situated on 5th floor and dry your cloth on the roof top balcony. I keep my 9ft Boesendorfer grand in the room behind the courtyard. If you're a pianist or piano enthusiast, please let me know so I open the room for you when I'm at the apartment. Guest access Please feel free to use the shared reception area, kitchennette. You can use the laundry machine on 5th floor and hang dry your laundry on the roof balcony. Please note that storage room on 4th floor and kitchen on 5th floor is private area. During your stay Stay with us, we're an experiences host (12 year hosting and a superhost all along) for you comfortable stay. My aunt lives in the house and sometimes I will as well so you can ask for help from us if you need. In case we're not there, you can always contact us by airbnb message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Other things to note Don't leave your room door open at anytime to avoid mosquitoes getting in. (Thais has a proverb that mosquitos are more harmful than a tiger. They get in so easily but it's so difficult to get them out of the room Please note that the internal courtyard is designed as an outdoor space within the building. It has a movable roof but some rain spill is possible when there's heavy and and strong wind at the same time.
