Great Cleave was once a threshing barn and is now a spacious luxury cottage with modern conveniences. Set in a tranquil location in the middle of hilly Devon farm country, this is the place to stay if you want to get away from it all. Great Cleave is a home away from home for large families or a group of friends. All four bedrooms can easily accommodate a travel cot. Up to 9 people can comfortably stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is plenty of room for diners. The space The open moor and wild ponies are 20 minutes away. Exeter is 15 miles. Chagford is 3. The quant village of Drewsteignton is 2. There is easy access to the A30 dualcarriageway and most of the South West. Guest access The indoor pool and sauna are just next door, and are open year round. The games barn is just across the drive. There is a green, fenced play space for kids and 8 acres to roam. In the autumn and early spring owls can be heard in the hills above. Venture out late at night, and you might even catch a glimpse of one. Other things to note The 3 cottages @East Underdown were converted into holiday accommodation in 1997. They were built in the mid 17th century. and we’re part of a working farm into the late 20th century. The cottages continue to be owned and maintained by the same family with long time Devon roots. All 3 cottages can accommodate up to 17 people.
