Wabisabi Townhouse in Hoces del Río Riaza

Located in the unique enclave of the Hoces del Río Riaza Natural Park, among vineyards of the Ribera del Duero and spotting birds of prey every day, Wabisabi Townhouse is a traditional house of the Castilian-Leonese village built in the early 20th century in stone and natural wood. Completely renovated in 2019, taking care of every detail, enhancing the rustic charm of yesteryear and providing comfort to give the guest an unrepeatable rural experience. Follow us on IG @wabisabitownhouse The space The house consists of a street floor where the kitchen and a reception room are located. Going up the beautiful hand-built staircase, on the first floor we find a large bathroom and the master bedroom with a double bed. In the attic, guests can enjoy a cozy living room complete with two comfortable and large sofas (one being a sofa bed), a 55" TV, and the second blind room with a double bed (with a window to the living room). The kitchen is fully equipped with: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave and Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee maker as well as another small Italian coffee maker. Heating works with a pellet stove and is supplemented by two electric radiators. Guest access The house is located in the center of the village of Montejo de la Vega de la Serrezuela, a village of just over 100 inhabitants but very lively. It is located in a valley and has 2 bars, 1 restaurant, 1 supermarket and 1 bakery-shop. Its inhabitants are mostly engaged in agriculture and livestock. Even today it preserves medieval ruins of its walls, the bridge and a hermitage. You can park on the street with no problem. Montejo is just 15 minutes away from Aranda de Duero. Other things to note In the village there is no mobile phone coverage except for Vodafone, which allows a total disconnection. However, the house has Wi-Fi and a landline for emergencies.
