Nature Lover's Vegan Paradise

Please read all of the information before booking. Our clothing optional apartment doesn't suit everyone so consider carefully before going ahead or feel free to ask any questions first. We have a beautiful rural home near the Crystal Castle ten minutes drive from Mullumbimby with breathtaking views of the ocean and Byron Bay in the distance! Situated on 20 acres of wild and weedy Byron hinterland farm land and bordering a nature reserve, we have a great, private single room, self contained apartment on the ground floor of our house for one or two guests. The apartment has a basic kitchenette, laundry, TV, queen size bed, fold out sofa lounge, wifi internet. Entrance is separate to the rest of the house which adds to the privacy. We often don't see guests after check in although we're not far away if you need us. We have cavoodle dogs who can be noisy at times and footsteps can be heard through the ceiling from the room above. We provide a vegan continental breakfast of muesli and soy milk, bananas, local coffee and tea etc. The solar heated rainwater, naturist shower and bath are outside in the garden so it may not suit everyone but anyone who likes to be natural in nature will love it. It's our most popular feature and comes with a private clothing optional area for sun lovers to get an all over tan! It's like showering under a warm waterfall with fresh air and greenery all around. There is NO inside shower or bath so consider if that aspect will suit before booking. The closest beach to us was once a legal nudist beach and many of our guests are naturists (nudists). We have another Airbnb that's not always clothing optional so we ask guests to be respectful. On the other hand, we often accommodate naturists in our other Airbnb so textile (clothes wearing) guests need to be comfortable in a naturist, hippie environment. Over half the property is natural bushland with lots of wildlife including koalas, wallabies, echidnas, rare birds and frogs. Harmless bugs or spiders take up residence in the room regularly. We prefer not to use harmful toxic sprays so best not to book if you are afraid of bugs or spiders. Rates start at $90 per night and vary according to seasonal demand. Longer term stays are welcome and very negotiable so if you're interested in accommodation for a week or a month or more don't hesitate to contact us and ask questions or make an offer. Guest access The apartment is a granny flat on the ground floor of our house. It's self contained and private with it's own entrance and parking directly outside. None of the space is shared with others. Other things to note Our property borders a nature reserve so there is no shortage of bugs and insects around. Sometimes spiders will find their way into the room but they are all harmless. Contact us if you discover any unwelcome guests and we will evict them. Registration Details PID-STRA-30705
