Hemlock Cottage

Hemlock Cottage is found tucked back in the quiet neighborhood on Hemlock Street at the base of Doe Mountain. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains or up for adventure during your stay, the Cottage has the ideal central location. Depending on your route, you can easily visit 3 states during your stay. Our closest and most visited cities nearby include: Johnson City, TN; Boone, NC; and Bristol, TN & VA. The space Hemlock Cottage offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 adults with 2 queen beds and 1 full bath. The main space is an open floor plan which allows everyone to interact without having to move among rooms. A large bay window in the living space showcases beautiful sunsets on a regular basis and floods the main space with natural light all day. The wrapped porch is one of our favorite features; it allows our guests to gather outside and enjoy the beautiful weather while listening to the birds in the surrounding trees. You will find an outdoor eating area with table and chairs on the spacious porch. To the back of the property we also have a fire pit that makes great s'mores and evening hangouts. Guest access During your stay, the whole house and property is yours to make yourself at home. Other things to note The Cottage houses a small laundry closet for those that is available to the guests if needed during their stay. Extra bed linens are located in the closets in each room; extra bath linens are located both under the bathroom sink and in the handing cabinet near the shower. The Cottage is neighbor to wildlife that lives on Doe Mountain with rabbits that frequent the yard, deer that pass through from time to time, and, of course, the squirrels and birds that live in the trees around the property.
