Welcome to our home! We built a private studio apartment for you to enjoy! Just 10 minutes from downtown. This stunning property is surrounded by trees, wildlife & sounds from the FB River. We live in the house upstairs and my in-laws live in the other apartment down below. Although your stay will be private, we are here to help if need be, but respect your space and solitude. Please note- there are NO shared air vents in this space. Unit has it’s own A/C, heat. *We had no damage from Helene* The space This 400 sq ft studio has everything you will need to be able to relax after a long day exploring in Asheville. This studio Airbnb is ideal for those that are coming in town and plan on using the space mainly to freshen up after a long hike, before dinner, and catch a good nights rest after a nice night out. We want to point out that there are not shared air vents in this space, keeping your safety in mind, we have an individual Mitsubishi heat & A/C unit for you to control yourself. You can relax on the twin sleeper sofa or even in the bed to watch the 42" TV as it is on a swivel. We have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video and Disney + for you to enjoy and fast wi-fi will have you connected to anything at your fingertips. Enjoy an amazing nights sleep on the queen size hybrid mattress and pillows. The bathroom is spacious with room to store your things and hang up your clothes. The 36x60 custom tile shower even has an adjustable showerhead. Enjoy a morning coffee on us! Complimentary k-cups provided with the Keurig along with bottled water and snacks. The kitchenette also has a microwave, mini fridge with small freezer, and the basic necessities for you to use. We hope that you enjoy this beautiful area that you're staying in. Just 4 miles from downtown yet it feels like its a world away. It's so fun to watch all of the wildlife right in the yard. You will often if not always see wild turkeys, deer, and many birds. With protected land behind us, we're glad our furry friends often visit. *Please be mindful when entering or leaving the property as we often have turkeys and deer crossing.* If you leave your window open perhaps you will hear the rushing water of the French Broad River as it is right across the street from us. Enjoy the fall and winter river and mountain views when you sit outside and savor your cup of coffee or glass of wine. There are 2 chairs outside of your studio just for you. **Please note** As mentioned, 2 families live on the property. The space of both apartments below were carefully planned with everyone's privacy in mind. Although you may hear us occasionally, we are mindful and are on a rather traditional schedule. With that being said, please be mindful of the volume and take note that "quiet time" starts at 11:00. We do have cameras on the property for security purposes. One camera faces the front door/steps and the other camera faces the driveway. **Please message the word "ASHEVILLE" to show that you have read the house description** **If you haven't, please read over the "House Rules" and leave that password as well. Guest access Guests have access to their studio apartment and the designated chairs outside of their space. Other things to note This studio is most suitable for 2 guests. We will consider 2 guests plus 1 kid as there is a twin pullout, but a 3rd guest MUST be approved. We want to ensure the best experience and sleeping arrangements for all, that is why this has been carefully considered. Thank you for your understanding.
