Vercors nature !

Our accommodation (56 m2) is close to Villard de Lans (1/4 hour) and in the heart of Vercors Park. Great walks are possible from the house and for all levels of walkers. Nature is everywhere, calm, sun... The view is magical, the neighbors are nice and you can enjoy the terrace to eat or bask in the sun (be careful, in the middle of summer, it's scorching!). If you have the app that allows it, we can send you a short video of the accommodation! The space Our 56 m2 accommodation is located in an old stone house typical of the Vercors. It consists of a ground floor and a bedroom upstairs. The main room consists of the kitchen area and dining area (for 4 people) and a cozy area with armchair and sofa in front of the wood stove. As an extension of this first room, there is the library lounge (with lots of comics and books on the Vercors!!!) where there are two sofa beds (80 cm) where two adults or children can sleep. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a 160 cm bed. A staircase (quite steep) allows access. The land, organized into two main terraces, faces south. We built a small wooden cabin in which two people can sleep while listening to the sound of the river... The cabin is completely renovated, insulated and has a toilet and sink (cold water!). Personally, I love sleeping there in the summer, especially if Thomas snores too much!!! The accommodation is ideal for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children/teens or two couples) and has all the basic comforts (but there is no dishwasher or washing machine!!). Dogs are welcome. Feel free to make a fire in the stove (wood provided) if the evening is cool or damp! Guest access There is land all around the house (about 300 m2). You can park your car in a small parking lot 30 meters from the house. There is no store in Rencurel... it's very sad! To shop, you have to go to Villard de Lans (14 km) where there is a supermarket (Intermarché at the exit of Villard, open on Sunday mornings in summer) and all possible shops! Every Sunday morning, there is the market on the main parking lot with good organic and local products. There is also a very convenient and inexpensive self-service laundromat. Other things to note We spend many weekends in the house. There is food, basic products and wine. A simple principle: help yourself, make yourself at home and what you have used, you buy back before leaving!!. We provide sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, bath towels, dish towels, cleaning products... in short, everything you need to avoid having to lug everything around for a week! Dogs are welcome but not cats: Thomas is allergic +++ and gets terrible asthma attacks if two cat hairs pass under his nostrils...
