Weache Bus in 22 Acre Private Nature Reserve
A 4 birth lovingly converted bus, incl. wood stove, small fridge, small oven, dining area, 2 bedrooms, compost loo and alfresco shower. Set in a private 22 acre nature reserve with lakes, flower meadows and huge oaks, guests are invited to enjoy the peace and explore locally, which includes the local village pub. Just 3 miles from the market town of Llandeilo and within easy reach of many attractions. The space Due to the steep stairs in the bus and the wood burner it may not be suitable for toddlers. Guests provide their own bedding, although we provide fitted sheets and extra blankets. Surrounded by wild land, the Weache Bus is situated down a long track. There is no litter, no dog mess and no traffic. There are trees to climb, dens to make, and streams to play in. As you adventure round the land you can spot the owl boxes and will also hear the owls almost every night. The nature reserve is not a tidy place, what is mess to adults can be prime real estate for wild animals or fun stuff for kids. In our long career as parents and foster carers we have found that children (and adults) tend to be happiest when they can make dens and play in the wild. Our aim in setting up this holiday business was to create an environment that gave native wild animals and children some much needed breathing space. We aim to keep the nature reserve free of harmful chemicals and we provide eco friendly shampoos and soap for our guests. Even the water here is chlorine and fluoride free as it is from our own spring. We believe we are creating a children's wonderland and it's pretty wonderful for adults too! If all this clean living is too much you can escape to the excellent village pub which is an easy walk away! Nearby Llandeilo is a beautiful market town with great cafes, pubs and bars, antique and craft shops. Other local attractions include Newton House, Dinefwr Castle, Carreg Cennen Castle, Aberglasney House and Gardens and The National Botanic Garden of Wales. Meanwhile, the beautiful beaches of The Gower, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion are just an hour away. Guest access As well as sole use of the bus, picnic area and adjacent fire pit, guests are able to extensively explore the surrounding nature reserve. As well the pee-loo on board, there is a compost toilet and shower outside. Other things to note As the nights get colder, guests can use electric heaters and electric blankets as well as the wood stove.
