At this mountain location, only ~5% of places actually install air conditioning, even though it is common in much of US. We do have a strong portable air conditioning unit as needed (rarely) in mid-summer: Night temperatures in the region are usually 50°F or so even in the hottest days of mid-summer at the home. Daytime temperatures rarely exceed 80°F. So if you’re in the full sun, it will possibly feel hot outside. Of course late June - August brings lots of clouds every afternoon and some rain and some thunderstorms so usually things cool off anyway even more! ✺ Beaver Creek Resort is an easy drive (4 minutes away if you go to the Arrowhead parking). Arrowhead is a beautiful part of Beaver Creek and connected via mountain lifts. Otherwise you can travel about 7 minutes to parking lots (Elk lot, Bear Lot) for Beaver Creek and take a 3-5 min shuttle (get off at first stop) from there. Really it’s best to take a car and park, because while there is also a regional shuttle right out of Edwards, you have to pay for the bus that leaves from there and it takes longer. Vail is only 12-15 minutes away. Best place to park or get off the bus is Lionshead or Vail Village. Note: We pay our wonderful housekeeping crew, a small, local, woman-owned family business based right here in the mountains, a fair living wage and we are proud to support CO mountain families. -- Cleaning each home takes the housekeeper crew several hours, including driving time, laundering (some at the home, and/or paying for additional laundry off-site), restocking linens and towels, and fully cleaning all appliances, bathrooms, kitchen, rooms, and flooring. -- Our goal is always to prepare the home to transform back into the best possible, pristine condition for our guests, so that when they walk in, they are ready to enjoy and seamlessly relax -- and our reviews reflect this commitment!. Common grassy areas, river access. —Easy 1 block away from groceries, restaurants, breweries, parks, movie theater, Bookworm Cafe, shops. Paid yoga and fitness studios, gyms nearby, plus a large recreation center in Avon. —EV charger stations within minutes: One is an ultrafast Electrify America station, Tesla Supercharger, and 2 blocks away, closer in Edwards, a Chargepoint fast charger by the grocery store. Other things to note Kid, family and friends groups welcome! Average age of adults, generally should be over 21. Reserved parking space (1) in a heated shared garage, can lock up bikes to bolt on wall. Ample, very close parking also always available in the outdoor parking lots. Quiet hours at 9:30pm—no ski boots worn in building (too loud), no smoking anywhere near or in the building nor balcony (must be 25ft away), no loud partying allowed, dogs allowed with approval and $99 fee (please describe dog, must be supervised at all times and not left alone/barking), family friendly area with long term residents. Indicate total number of guests and pet when booking—pricing changes by number of guests above 4 or pets.
