On a country road that winds through the beautiful Dordogne, you will find our beloved and very private house. On the large property around our house, there is ample opportunity to park your car or several cars. Through the French doors of the centrally located house, you enter a spacious kitchen. In the middle of this kitchen annex living room you will find a round dining table. In the kitchen, there is also the opportunity to cook on a four-burner gas stove. Pots and pans are provided. There is also a microwave, cookware, dishes and a kettle. The interior is stylish, clean and cozy. Around the house is a very large and richly vegetated garden with two stone picnic tables, a fire bowl, a large homemade BBQ and a lovely hammock under the shelter of some large trees. Children can jump on our big trampoline, build huts and climb trees. Nearby, you can enjoy excellent hiking in a beautiful setting. Canoeing on the river Drone, snorkeling and cycling are also among the possibilities. 14 kilometers away you will find Grand Etang de la Jemaye. A beautiful fishing and swimming lake surrounded by a large pine forest. Here you can sunbathe on a beautiful beach, swim, canoe, water ski and fish for carp, pike and perch. In Riberac, you can buy local products such as Foie Gras, live trout and wild boar on Friday mornings at the cozy market. Nearby there are a number of nice and very good restaurants, cafes and shops. Bergerac Airport is 60 kilometers away. If you want to visit the hustle and bustle of the big city, Bordeaux and Perigieux can be reached in about an hour's drive. What makes this place unique is the beautiful surroundings, and the absolute tranquility. You will be in a green oasis where you and your family will certainly be able to relax completely..... You have access to the bungalow, storage rooms and very spacious garden. During your vacation, you are completely alone with your family and/or your guests. Our house is managed by La Conciergerie. This is a professional local company that welcomes our guests with a welcome basket (filled with fresh bread, flowers, bottle of wine, juice and gift for the little one). They prepare for your arrival by putting the garden furniture outside. They do the key handover and act as a (24/7) point of contact during your vacation. They speak both English and French fluently. They also do the cleaning before and after your stay. We hope that you will have a carefree and pleasant vacation in our fine house. Nearby is the village of Riberac. Here you will find supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, weekly market, health center, gas station and so on. The beautiful lake Etang de la Jemaye is 14 km away. Here you can swim, canoe, fish and sunbathe on the beach. In this area, having a car is a must. If you would like to bring bicycles, you should take into account the 6 km distance to the nearest village of Riberac. You must bring your own bedding and towels.
